Let UI Not Exceed 4 Steps to Complete Any Action : 4 is More

We should avoid having more than 4 steps in any particular UI-UX in our app at all cost.
Unless we know with 100% certainty that this particular UX flow will be taken by user without hesitation and is a must to take, only then we are free to cross the 4 steps vis 4 screens limit of UI-UX.

Another path to Keep UX small is to categorize features, if you have not already ;)
I think this strategy is already well studied and well known to UX UI Designers and it should be still followed.
Sometimes, we start to underestimate power of old strategies and we try to invent something that replaces them but as they say old is gold, we need to stick to our old tricks to keep new projects UI UX seamless.

Sometimes in hurry we overlook some UI and may leave an area in our UX UI from where a user may feel like stranded on an island from where he/she has no hope of coming back from. We don’t want a user in this situation.
Many psychological concepts behind this one, people don’t like to be abandoned, it invokes a very very primal and ancient existential fear in them.

To tackle this issue, we have to adapt a UI development strategy, wherein we don’t leave a UI project once it goes into development, but we do a UI test after development of application, and make sure if there are these stranded islands in our app UI by using it in real time.
Because it’s nature of applications to introduce unforeseen errors after it has been developed.
For this reason, we have to extend UI development till after project development and till project launch and even after project launch.
